This is an authentic Turkish Traditional Night in Istanbul. You will not see professional belly dancers, folkloric dances nor touristic places, but you will see much more than that!  We will take you where turkish people go for diner in a 'Turkish Way'. You will have the opportunity to meet local people having fun with their friends. The evening will start in a traditional restaurant, wich is called Meyhane !!!

The tavern (meyhane) is a little getaway where the classic tavern feel is felt entirely with a warm and informal decor and air. Apart from the menu that has Armenian, Greek, Arab, and Turkish roots, there is also live fasıl music every night.
 

About Kumkapı Area  (Location of the tavern)

 

Located on the coast of the Marmara Sea, the Kumkapı neighborhood is known for its many meyhane (taverns) where rakı and meze are served alongside with live fasıl music
played by wandering musicians. A night in Kumkapı will let you delve right into Istanbul’s historic meyhane culture that is intimately connected to the city’s essence.
There are many great restaurants in the Kumkapı area, which have been around since 1932. Be forewarned, though, as Kumkapı is quite the lively place with loud music, tables set up out on the streets,
and lots of people.
