Description

This is a great tour if you are looking to be away from the crowds of the city and find peace in nature. To meet your desire, we set out from our agency everyday at 9 o’clock. Our first stop is in Sürmene Knife Rayon. In this rayon you can get information about Sürmene Knives and you can buy knives for souvenir. Our second stop is in Botanical Tea Garden in Rize, where you can drink tea and take photos. We stop by Rize Cloth Workplace and see regional loom before we get back on the road. After a 20 minute ride, we arrive in Fırtına Valley and take a break for a photo session. Then we visit the Historical Stone Bridge. After our break in Historical Stone Bridge, we arrive in Ayder Plato. You will also have free time in Gelin Tülü Waterfall. At 5 o’clock we set out for returning to Trabzon and complete our tour.

About Ayder Plateau 

Ayder Plateau is 140km from Trabzon and 19 km from Çamlıhemşin district, southeast of the sea level 1350 m. It is surrounded by pine forests at the height, in fact it is considered as a plateau since it is mainly used as a plateau but it is frequently used as a highland in the folk language. Ayder Plateau, which is located within the borders of Çamlıhemşin district, where you will arrive by following the unique natural beauties along the Fırtına creek, the High and Lower Ambarlik (Bridal Tulle) Waterfall, Plateau Houses, Plenty and Different Flowery Plains, Honey and Spa obtained from medicinal flowers, its back is huge. It is waiting for you in every paradise covered with mountains and covered with pine-covered slopes. When you arrive at Çamlıhemşin, you can visit Zır Kale (Zil Kale), which was built on another branch of the historical silk road, which adds another value to the South direction. In Ayder, which was declared as a "Tourism Center" in 1987 with the Decision of the Council of Ministers, hotels, spas and touristic facilities are built by the Special Provincial Administration and private institutions.
 

It is said that the local people as well as local and foreign tourists contribute to the treatments such as rheumatic diseases, internal diseases, gynecological diseases and skin diseases from the healing hot spring water coming underground from 50 to 55 degrees.

On the 174th page of the Trabzon Province Yearbook, dated 1871, the phrase “In the township of Hemsin, is a hot spring near Ayder, known as Ayder, and is famous for its windshield and its taste is unlike any mineral water”.

This natural wonder town, which has been known for many years by the people of the region, has begun to bring facilities that more people can benefit with the services it provides. The modern facility, which has pools, resting rooms, beds, private cabins, shower cabins, pressurized water section, physical therapy department and doctor, can be accessed by people in Ayder.

In Ayder Plateau, there are touristic hotels, bungalows and wooden accommodation facilities, restaurants, cafeterias, large and small, which can accommodate 1500 people, and reinforce their place in the memories of their visitors by hosting all kinds of guests.

Although it is used as a summer region, Ayder Plateau has started to attract attention in the winter season with the Ayder Plateau Snowman Festivals held every 2-3 February of the year in recent year.
